Who we are
Antitropy, LLC operates this website and the Riopex product. For personal data collected through this website, Antitropy, LLC is the controller: it decides what is collected and why.
This notice covers this website and the enquiries made through it. Where a customer uses the Riopex platform, personal data inside that platform is processed on the customer's instructions under a separate data processing agreement, and the customer is the controller of it.
What we collect
Only two things: what you type into the pilot request form, and the technical records our hosting provider keeps in order to serve the site.
- From the pilot request form: your name, work email address, the group or company you write from, a description of your group structure, your role, what you are after, and anything you write in the message field
- From your visit: the request records our hosting provider keeps, which include an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested and the user agent
- A short-lived record of recent submissions, keyed to a network address, used only to rate-limit the form against abuse
What we leave alone
Your browsing stays yours. This website carries no advertising, no third-party advertising cookies, no social media trackers, no session recording and no cross-site profiling, and we neither buy contact data nor enrich what you send us from third-party sources.
There is no account to create on this website, so there are no credentials to store.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use what you send through the form to reply to you, and for nothing else. Our basis is your consent, given by the consent checkbox on the form, together with our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry made to us.
We use hosting records to operate the site securely and to investigate abuse, on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping it available and safe.
We will not send you marketing you did not ask for, add you to a mailing list, or use your enquiry to prospect a different part of your organisation.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is live, and then for up to twenty-four months so that we can remember a previous exchange. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.
Hosting request records are kept for the retention period our hosting provider applies. Rate-limit records expire within minutes.
Who processes it
We use a small number of processors to run the website and to send email. Each one is listed on the subprocessors page with its purpose and its processing region, and each is engaged under terms that oblige it to process personal data only on our instructions.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own purposes.
International transfers
Our processors may process data outside the country you are writing from, including in the United States and the European Union. Where that happens, it is done under the transfer mechanisms in the relevant processor agreement.
Data residency for the Riopex platform itself is a separate question, and one we will answer specifically for a pilot rather than generally here.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority.
Write to privacy@riopex.com and we will act on it. We will not ask you to justify the request, and we will not charge for it.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Any cookie it does set is strictly necessary to serve the page or to protect the form from abuse, and it carries no advertising identifier.
Changes
This notice is a draft pending review by counsel, and it will be revised before the first pilot. When it changes materially, the date at the top changes with it. We will not apply a new purpose retrospectively to data you sent us under an older version.
